I have been a Nutanix Technology Champion since 2022, and 2026 is my fifth year in a row.
The NTC program is how Nutanix recognises people who share what they know about the platform: by blogging, speaking, answering questions in the community or running a user group. You don’t get it for passing exams, and you have to earn it again every year.
What I get out of it is mostly access and people. NTCs get briefings from the Nutanix product teams, and we get to tell them what works in the field and what doesn’t. And it is a group of about a hundred people around the world who are happy to help when you are stuck on something.
What I put in is mostly this blog. Next to that I lead the Nutanix User Group in the Netherlands, and I’m the only Nutanix certified instructor in the Benelux, teaching the official courses in Dutch and English.
