This is my live blog of Nutanix Technology Champion Tech Connect 2026: two days at Nutanix HQ in San Jose, on 26 and 27 October 2026, with the product and engineering teams and a small group of fellow NTCs from all over the world. The updates below are written during the trip, with the newest one on top.
Live updates
Newest first. From 24 October the times are local time in San Jose (PDT).
Friday 23 October – One more day
Last day at home before the trip. Do you have a question for the Nutanix product teams? Leave a comment below and I will take it with me to San Jose.
What is Tech Connect?
Tech Connect is an invite-only event for Nutanix Technology Champions at Nutanix HQ, 1740 Technology Drive in San Jose, California. The 2026 edition is on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 October. About 28 NTCs from 7 countries got an invitation to spend two days with the people who design and build the Nutanix platform: product management, engineering and the executive team.
It is not a conference where you sit and listen. The sessions are interactive, so we get to ask questions, give feedback and argue about features. From what the other NTCs have shared, the agenda covers AOS and AHV, NKP, AI, security and the roadmap. Part of it is under NDA. Everything I am allowed to share is in the updates above.
A big thank you to Angelo Luciani and his team for organizing it.
Getting there
The way out: KLM KL605 from Amsterdam to San Francisco on Saturday 24 October, together with Patrick Damen, Julien Dumur, Jonas Hu00f6gman and Bart Donders. Eleven hours with five NTCs in one plane, so plenty of time for Nutanix discussions.
